Hands down one of the biggest honors of my life so far. Dr. Mohamed A. El Erian Author of "The Only Game in Town" Chairman of Obama's Economic Development Council He gave a speech on global financial risks related to central banks, and afterwards he and I discussed about his experience of working with President Obama. "Obama was a very nice man." #maybeOneDay #ThisWillBeMe #Obama #POTUS #Advisor #HK #AFF #economy #centralbanks #regulations #money #honor #crazy #market #banks #opportunity #growth #future #USA #Canada #Latrecon #financial #investment #investor #Europe #picoftheday #motivation #inspiration #optimistic

This is the face of fear. I have flown 13+ hour flights many times but every time I do it, I truly feel that I lost something in me that I will never get back. It is a struggle. I have to get mentally and physically ready and try to make the most of the time in this confined little space with little opportunity to effectively socialize for an extrovert like me (after 2 hours). . . . . #flying #flight #fear #longdistance #15hours #HongKong #HK #Montreal #Toronto #airport #international #travelling #travel #wealth #style #nostyle #tired #ritzcarlton #bar #drinks #aircanada #enjoy #life

Its been one incredible journey this year. So many ups and so many downs. If I learned anything, it's that its not how you win, but how you lose that truly matters. You might think it is just some cliche that I post with a photo like many of us do, but it's not. Take it to heart my friends. Its how you lose, not how you win. #grad #mcgill #unistudent #university #crazy #timeflies #graduation #photo #grownup #maturity #NotHowYouWin #ItsHowYouLose #learning #gq #inspiration #optimistic #life #success #lookingood #money #future #motivation #class #journey #NoEnd #picoftheday #HappyNewYear #NewYear #NewAttitude

Many people go a life time without meeting their hero and idol. I am eternally grateful for being selected to meet my hero and my God: Warren Buffett. I have studied about him arduously, for years. I have read books that he read, books that others wrote about him. I have read Berkshire's reports year and year. I have put myself into his positions to understand why he did what he did. I have watched all his interviews. I have visited Omaha, waited for hours in the freezing rain just so that i could see him close up. When people ask him a question, I could almost always know what he is about to say, and if he ll be amused or annoyed by this question. Buffett is a man of prudence. Unlike the stereotype of finance people and rich folks, he is prudent to the point people cant understand. He still lives in the same house he bought 40 years ago, driving the same car he has been driving for 20 years. He wants the government to raise inheritance tax so that his money could be taken by the government instead of his kids. He didn't want New York; he didn't want fancy; he didn't want the best. He just wants Omaha, his hometown, and he put it in the map of the world. It is simply unbelievable. I'll leave with a quote by Buffett, "Measure life by how much the people you love love you." #Love #Hero #God #Buffett #ForeverOracle
