In desperate need of a new pose sos... . I may or may not be the clumsiest person on the planet and somehow managed to sprain/jam/fuck up my wrist a few days ago😂 Obviously that makes it difficult to lift so I’ve just been doing cardio, my ab circuit, and stretching for the last few days! Awkward transition pics🙃 . Bulking update: reminiscing on being lean!! I’ve gained about 4 pounds so far since starting my bulk just over a month ago. Sometimes I get nervous seeing the number on the scale go up, but I’m still comfortable with what I see in the mirror! I have to keep reminding myself that it will be worth it when I start cutting again! My metabolism has improved tremendously and I can definitely notice strength/muscle gains. I’ve been roughly estimating my macros thus far, but I’m going to start tracking more precisely just to make sure I’m not over/under eating. I plan to keep things up with this bulk and start cutting in January or February! I’m not cutting for a competition, just want to get ripped for summer lol😎 I’ve learned so much since my last cut, so I’m hoping to get even leaner this time around. But for now... I literally rolled out of bed and came to the gym😅 I go to school at 9, go straight to work at 3, come home at 8:30, and then have rehearsal from 10-midnight so an early morning gym sesh is really my only option... Good thing I'm a morning person💩 . I've been doing my workouts fasted, mainly for convenience sake, and I've surprisingly had plenty of energy to workout! No coffee or preworkout either! . I rarely do either of these exercises but I'm going to start implementing them more often! Lately after school and work the last thing I want to do is work out😩 All I want is sleep!! I only make it to the gym 4-5 times a week, and I'm used to going basically everyday. I'm currently intuitively eating instead of tracking macros and it's working very well for me so far! I've tracked for so long that I can spot 4oz of chicken from across the room and can estimate the macros on any meal pretty accurately. I have a general idea of my daily calorie and protein intake; It's nice to just eat when I'm hungry instead of force feeding to finish off my calories each day. This is why I recommend IIFYM, especially to beginners! Some people are completely oblivious to how many calories they're eating, and once you track for a while, you learn to estimate your food. If you have some size on your shoulders, lats, quads, and of course your booty, your waist will appear smaller! A throwback to my show because tbh I'm not feeling myself today😂 . Wisdom teeth surgery is the WORST and sitting/sleeping/eating ice cream for a week was not ideal for my fitness goals😝 I'm still recovering but was finally able to work out today! Here's an old post leg day selfie but the truth is I'm way too sore to workout today and I ate donuts for breakfast😂 . My workout yesterday was BOMB. I did most exercises until failure instead of having a target number of reps for each set. Clearly it worked because my 🍑 is so sore I can't even sit on the toilet (sorry if that's tmi). If you know that feeling I'm sure you feel my pain rn😂 . I get my wisdom teeth out tomorrow and not only am I TERRIFIED but it's gonna suck not being able to workout for a week meatheadproblems lol. My new apartment is a 2 minute walk from the Habit AND Chipotle😭😍😩🙌🏼 . My go to order from the Habit is the grilled chicken salad with double chicken for the gains💪🏼😜 Habit salads are so good that I've never even tried a burger there! When I'm low on calories/macros I don't get croutons and take the food to go so I can use my own low cal dressing at home. But today I went all in with the ranch😛 . It's currently 3pm and this is the first thing I've eaten today! Once I got past my initial hunger this morning I totally forgot about food (which is very rare lol). It made me want to give intermittent fasting a try! For those who don't know, intermittent fasting is essentially a way of utilizing your calories for a specific window of the day. I would rather have a few large, filling meals later in the day instead of 5-6 small meals throughout the whole day... My current goal is to do 5 consecutive pull-ups! I consider myself to be pretty strong but for some reason pull-ups have always been a struggle for me! Maybe because I'm heavy af but no excuses🙅🏼 . I've been doing these negative pull-ups at the end of every workout and I've been seeing a lot of improvement! I also do assisted machine pull-ups and banded pull-ups.
