As the devastating fires continue to tear through California, the wine community is in peril. Over 120,000 acres have burned in the Napa and Sonoma Counties alone, and counting. So what can you do? First, go out and buy some California wine this weekend. Seriously. Purchasing a bottle from a small producer in Northern California (like this one from @broccellars) can make a difference.
